Sunday School & Crèche
Our Sunday School and Crèche are available during every morning service, with the exception of the last Sunday in every month which is a Family Service. The children stay in the Church for the first part of the service and then leave for their classes held in our Church Hall. We use a wide range of Bible based material in order to encourage our young people to learn more about God. The children are also encouraged to participate in our family services, especially during Mother's/Father's Day, Easter and Christmas, at which time they will be an active part of our morning service.
Everyone involved with childrens works has been DBS (CRB) cleared.
BIBLE STUDY/PRAYER TIME- Tuesday evenings 7.30pm Lower School Room
A time for prayer for the church and the community and for those who are unwell, followed at 8.00pm by Bible Study. We usually finish at 9.00pm when we have refreshments and a chat. All are welcome.
The next season will be rehearsing songs for Easter.
New members are always welcome. We enjoy singing together! Contact Isobel Kelly, using our Contact Page, if you would like to come along and to find out the next season start date.
WEDNESDAY EVENING POP UP HOUR OF PRAYER
We are a prayerful church and we believe in the Bibles' teaching that we can approach God for anything in the name of Jesus. Wednesday evenings the church is open between 7pm and 8pm where everyone is welcome to pop in and stay for as long as they find possible. Exceptions to this are days when the church members meetings take place. The prayer topics include prayer for church ministries, for church members, for church youth, for those in need, for Kingswood village including Kingswood businesses and for world affairs - and anything, everything and everyone requiring answers from God. If you are reading this YOU are welcome to join us. see you there.
We occasionally host cafe church which is helping to provide a more casual environment where "church" is less threatening to people who would find it difficult to walk into a church building.
The Cafe aspect is modelled on coffee, cake and background music (sometimes live and unplugged) provided free in a cafe set up. More information can be found on the cafe church news page.
